Same here, Haze not in my team anymore.Has Malceski had any problems in the pre season? I think Haselby is a bigger risk, he's been seen with ice packs on his knee and is well above his usual playing weight. I'm not touching him.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
backs: goddard, newman, lockyer, drummond, houlihan, raines, hill (petrenko, broughton)
centres: ablett, k.cornes, pendlebury, gibbs, T.tuck, rich (anthony, beams)
rucks: Cox, Mcintosh (graham, jacobs)
forwards: pav, deledio, Stevey J, cloke, higgins, skipworth, hentschel (walker, gumbleton)
A nice side, only query is what happens if say Newman does a Hammy. Out for 3 weeks not worth trading. Can you rely on Petrenko or Broughton to defiantly play? And if they do, young rookies usually only score 30-50. I would do some downgrading and swap either petrenko or Broughton for say a Grimes who is guarenteed to play 22 and hopefully score 60+ every week.
Other than that, I like the Cloke option. Stevie J is still quite pricey and i think Lids and Pav are to expencive to have both of them at this stage.
yeh, i've been thinking about the grimes option... but i dont know alot about him... aparently he has impressed... is he a certain for there best 22?? because he could make it alot easier on the reserves... but i'll still have a fair bit of changing to do to fit him in... and with steve J, im kind of stuck about who else in his range to get.. i cant really go any higher than him and goodwin seems like the only other option...
IMO you should downgrade Stevie J, although i love him he's still inconsistent. So i think his value could drop 20 to 40k. I'd look at downgrading to somelike Andy Lovett, He's had a killer pre-season he's moving into a new Midfield posistion and has averaged 88 in the NAB so far. At 330K he is a great upgrade option come round 8-10 when Higgins gets offloaded you can upgrade lovvett to a keeper and have heaps of cash left over. I expect Lovvett could get to 360 to 380k if his form continues.
well to get money for grimes i had to get rid of pav.. and downgrade stevie J as well...
so it would look like...
backs: goddard, newman, lockyer, drummond, houlihan, raines, grimes (petrenko, hill)
centres: ablett, k.cornes, pendlebury, gibbs, T.tuck, rich (anthony, beams)
rucks: Cox, Mcintosh (graham, jacobs)
forwards: deledio, goodwin, lovett, cloke, higgins, skipworth, hentschel (walker, gumbleton)
that makes the backs alot safer... but makes me have one less keeper... and dropping pav to lovett is a big loss... think it could have the same benfits??
yeh good point on the backs... mmm there's more options than goodwin though... stokes has had an awsome NAB, and davis is there aswell...
anyone know where i can find stats from the NAB cup??
IMO you should downgrade Stevie J, although i love him he's still inconsistent.
Trying to get a few more unique players in, not going so well so far...
B: Goddard, Cornes, McMahon, Bock, Waite, Raines, Grimes (Hill, Petrenko)
M: Ablett, Bruce, Gibbs, Mackay, Skipworth, Otten (Beams, Anthony)
R: Cox, Petrie (Graham, Spencer)
F: Deledio, Giansiracusa, S Johnson, Houlihan, Higgins, Krakoeur, Thompson (Walker, M Brown)
Tossing up Rich or Otten at the moment, as well as Thompson or Hogan. Got 13 keepers, all of which meet my criteria (backs 85+, mids 95+, forwards 90+).
Thoughts?

Think i'm very close to my final side.
Backs - B.Goddard, C.Cornes, P.Burgoyne, R.Houlihan, A.Raines, J.Grimes, N.Suban (K.Cheney, J.Petrenko)
Mids - G.Ablett, K.Cornes, B.Dalziell, B.Gibbs, C.Morton, D.Beams (M.Robinson, L.Anthony)
Rucks - D.Petrie, T.Simmonds (J.Spencer, S.Jacobs)
Forwards - M.Pavlich, B.Deledio, P.Chapman, Q.Lynch, S.Higgins, H.Skipworth, N.Krakouer (S.Gumbleton, S.Hogan)
Looks pretty good, you've opted to avoid the mid-range players and select guns and low-price players.
I would be hesitant starting with Suban and beams.
Suban has just injured his shoulder and might not play a large percentage of the season anyway. I also think you would be better off getting pav mid-way through the season when his price will most likely have dropped. I don't rate Q lynch very highly.
What is the better option:
Goddard and Yarran or Grimes and T Cloke
