Seriously as much as I love the club and support them, the one thing I hate the most is ducking. We have played will this season but in the second half of the season ducking has crept into our games, and we are terrible at it.

Those few that do it: Cut it out and play some football.

can ya name and shame those freo players please

Son Son was the main culprit for sure. He didn't look comfortable on that knee though so instead of twisting and side-stepping his first instinct was to duck to try and win a free

Unfortunately for son-son it's now got to a point where "the boy who cried wolf" precedent is prevailing...

The occasional deserved free for high contact is often overlooked, I'm not too fussed about it given his antics but wish we weren't doing it

Son Son does it can't think of anyone else though! Don't think you can include Suba though, he gets genuinely rag dolled! Walters can be cringe worthy at times though!

SonSon and Suban.

Not sure Suban is doing but is the way he has always played. Son Son unfortunately has picked it up. I call it the corkscrew when they turn their head towards the player and start to drop down. Ugly move and I think the umpires are starting to ignore it a little.

With Walters ducking, you can see that he tries to duck the tackle through instinct.

That's a big difference to deliberately staging for free kicks like the Selwoods, Hams and don't get me started on Jack Darling.

Suban doesn't have a neck, can't get pinged for high tackles. He just goes in hard with his head over the ball with no fear.

Walters has tried the shrug and duck in a way to draw the free but he is terrible at it. Much better with his evasive skills before the tackle is applied.

Yeah, there's degrees. No doubt Walters is developing a habit of it, but he's nowhere near the Selwood, Hams and Darling level. They are laughably bad, what SonSon does is not too far from what is commonly done around the league with keeping the head down in the contest and hoping for the best (free kick).

I don't like it, but it's not on the level of the experts mentioned above.

There's a difference between ducking to try and elude a tackle and just letting your knees give way whenever you are tackled to try and get a free.
