Dude! Wheres My Phone!?

ok there is a chance i lost my phone in a drunken stuper, but i am pretty sure i was pick pocketed, because my money went aswell! (although money is often unaccounted for on a night out)

heres what i remember, i was up on a podium dancing with some chicks at some club in the city (melbourne), i don't even remember what club it was and then i'm kissing some chick, then i thought, time to hit the road, find a new chick (maybe) but i'll get this ones number, DUDE! WHERES MY PHONE!?

now heres the reason that i think it MAY be lost rather then stolen, it was in big loose pockets, i was in a crowded car, 4 in the back, there was alot of squirming around (could have fallen out then? but that was very early in the night, i should have noticed sooner). then we took a bus into the city i was on the back seat and fighting with some girls (could have fallen out then? but i still could have noticed sooner).
i rang it, and it rang out? means the sim card is still in it? (tried again this morning, rang out again.) BUT its on silent! so how the hell is anyone supposed to hear it IF it is lost, for example, on the bus.

i can't remember when i last had my phone on me, thats the big problem.

i got my girlfriend to call up and put my phone plan on hold (it can receive incomming calls, thats it) but as i'm sure many of u would worry about if u lost your phone, you lose your phone numbers! i lost appointments in the calender bit, i lost birthdays, i lost photos, etc. etc.

has anyone had any experiences similar to this? i don't want to go and buy a new phone, but how long can i wait in the hope some honest person finds my phone and calls my house (i sent my phone an sms).

i lost mine last week at the train station. i sat down, took it out of my pocket and put it next to me (its uncomfortable in there). i remember i had to buy something for my sister so i instintively got up and without thinking left the bloody thing at the seat. i walked 40m and realised i didnt have it. i ran back, but it was gone. when i left there was an oldish lady sitting 2 seats across from me and an oldish guy wandering around. they were both there when i returned. i think the most likely outcome was someone came right after i left, found the phone and left the train station. who would hang around if u took a phone?

i have made a promise to myself never to get an over the top phone ever again. i always buy 'latest' models but i am forever jumping in pools with it in pockets or getting it stolen or straight out loosing it. i feel/felt like the biggest tool on the planet.

Is this like the first time you've ever been out so you had to make up some story (loosing a phone) so you could tell us all about your first night out? Why didn't you just start a thread asking people to tell about their first night out? This is very amusing.

lol.. i actually broke up with her about 3 weeks ago, but i called her girlfriend rather then explaining "i called my ex girlfriend because she knows all my details blah blah blah".. i changed a detail i didn't think was important and now i look like a cheating fool.. lol..

i'm not going to bother justifying my story to ya, like i could give too hoots if u beleive me or not..
but beleive this, some people do actually go out and pick up. its nothing new. and its good fun. get up off your ass and experience it, you'll find u have some stories to tell as well..

I do, didn't you see my McD's story? That's a true story. Also I think it's two and belive, just for future reference. Don't worry, I don't think you made this up to look cool - nothing could help with that. I'm sure you did go out, but other than that... yeah.
