Righto,
Decided to book a flight over for the Anzac day game, did that 2 months ago but didn't take into account i need a ticket to the game.Got onto to Ticketek to see if i can get some but it appears im a bit late(by about 3 weeks:eek:). I have a "Beyond the Boundary" Essendon membership but it's pretty useless apart from showing my support to the club.
Question is, on the ticketek site, it asks for a membership barcode for purchasing tickets,my membership card doesn't have it and can only gather that the barcode is only on full membership cards. Is this correct?

ps. flame away, i deserve it!

Im not sure what the beyond the boundary membership is but yes that barcode is for matchday members who do not have a reserved seat.......for games that are going to be sold out the non-reserved seat members have to pay a bit extra to get a reserved seat.

Sometimes a certain number of General Admission tickets are released closer to the day, usually only standing room. But im not sure if there will be many of these if any at all, being ANZAC Day and all.

Good luck.

In the future always look at buying your Anzac day Tickets at the mid way stage of the NAB Cup when they first come out :thumbsu::)

This is the 1st footy game ive gone too in over 7 years, believe it or not,it's easier to organise and fly to Bali than it is to Melbourne from here.

One other question, ebay has tickets for sale but was just wondering where do the majority of the Essendon supporters sit at the G for a home game?

Being an Essendon home game most of the members reserve seating is between Q3 and Q14 row A to G on the top level. Or between M3 and M14 on the bottom level. There are also mebers on level N but not as much reserve seating is sold to the public from that section.
They do sell seats amongst the Essendon members on level M and Q.

So would these tickets be ok?
Just don't want to purchase a ticket and find out im sitting in a nest of feral magpie supporters:eek:

The $149 dollar ones that are between M5 and M12 would see you amongst a reasonable amount of Essendon supporters with some Collingwood mixed in.

The $125 dollar ones between M6 and M19 would be the same as above.
The seating between M52 and M56 would be a 50/50 mix of general public seating.
