Hence my comment yesterday re how we refer to him. To me he will now be known as the Assistant Coach at Melbourne so as to reflect all future faeces in their direction and so I can continue to ensure that he and the Richmond Football Club can stay out of the same sentence.

Breswe, you poor deluded fool. The Melbourne Assistant Coach was an absolute disaster in his 5 YEARS at Richmond. Took us from the top eight to last, traded away good draft picks for Dud rejects, had one game plan which wasn't even good and an annoying wife to boot. Sure, he's a nice guy, everybody's mate, but we're here to win footy games and hopefully even a flag one day. He wasn't up to it!!! Put your head back in your @rse and go away.
you need to stop looking for a scapegoat and look at the players my friend. they at the end of the day are the ones that allow goals kicked on them and they are the ones that kick our score at the end of the day. i have never seen a coach actually kick a goal on any given day. wake up my fellow tiger friend. it is just not one man-eg d.frawley. anyhow the past is the past , i do think that we are on the right track know.

he got us to a prelim final.it amazes me that everyone says how bad spud was..we have had a lot of coaches worse than spud such as.sproule.walls.gieshen patterson bartlett.none of whom got us to finals.sure spud wasnt good but he wasnt the worst we have had at richmond.Swifty_446 said:

No doubt we will breswe, but you can't honestly say Spud was a good coach. Sure our list wasn't the greatest, but his complete lack of gameplan over his last couple of years still makes me shudder, as I reckon we may have been a touch beter than 4 wins in 2004 would suggest.breswe said:
