Dunn's 0.4

Takes him to 4.11 for the year.

The precedent has been set with Newton in the past that players will be dropped if they continue to spurn opportunities at goal.

if he aint back at casey after that deplorable performance...

not happy

In theory, Dunny could have won us the game off his own boot tonight. Back to Casey until he learns how to kick straight. 4.11 is unacceptable.

pathetic, inspid, casey

three words that come to mind pretty quickly in regard to our current number 14

Watching the first 7 games I just get the impression that there are only a few guys left in the side that aren't 'premiership side' calibre, and will eventually get edged out by returning injured stars (Morton, Jurrah, Ricky P etc) or perhaps by unproven highish picks (Watts, Tapscott, Blease, Strauss).

I don't like to bash our own players, but guys like PJ, Bartram and Dunn don't have enough strings to their respective bows to make consistent, meaningful impacts on games of AFL players. At the stage when this calibre of player can be replaced by guys that have both class AND effort, as opposed to just filling roles (ie relief ruck, tagger, hit up forward) I think we will be that next step closer to becoming the kind of team we all hope they can be.

Dunny didn't lose us the match tonight but you would think that a classier unit (ie Ricky) would have been able to convert one or two of those opportunities.

its really quite pathetic, his decision making is horrendous... on the bright side i think paul johnson is back :)

the guy needs to see a careers counselor.

dont know what he'll be doing next year, but i do know he wont be getting paid to play football

He has moments in games where you think he is going to make it count. He gets the ball and winds up and you think something good is going to happen hear and it just goes to shit. He also had to commit to a few marks tonight but just waited for the footy.

Shits himself when under pressure (not physical, but mental). That said did he miss any real easy ones tonight? His problem was more his uncoolness under pressure in many situations (mainly what should have been a goal in the first quarter).

Him and hughes will be having a play off next week to determine who gets dropped for Watts the week after imo. Think the club would be keen to get Watts in ASAP but not when we play west coast cos of the Naitanui wankfest

He is simply not up to it as a player. Had we kept him as a forward rather than moving him into a different position each week, he may have developed some continuity and confidence in his game. Unfortunately, that did not happen and he has since turned into a nothing player. Drop to Casey and delist at the end of season.

A myth that has probably protected Dunn of his glaring weaknesses to fans. Like Pj he is a small man in a big mans body. Cannot take a contested mark for the life of him and is a habitual behind kicker. It's no wonder 2 coaches have played him as a tagger rather then 192cm 96kg forward when we really are crying out for a KPP. Delist end of the year.

Danny Hughes is 5cm shorter but can take a overhead mark, has nice hands and has massive leap. Speed to boot as well. He too is a habitual behind kicker but can kick miracle goals but it's a no brainer btw the 2. Hughes easy.

same thing happened with miller demonfan9. The worse thing he did for his career was play a good game on big bad bustling

I just feel that he never got the opportunity to settle in a forward position. He was never going to be big enough to play as the main target, but he may have been a decent third/fourth option off half forward. He kicked 13 goals in his debut season (from just 11 games), then spent the rest of his career playing all over the shop.

Although the position-switching wasn't ideal, I don't think that is the main reason why he has failed to succeed. He's simply too limited as a footballer. This is his 9th year at the club, and he has barely improved since 2004.
