I've just come back from a big trip through Asia and have a lot of very cool pics. Is it possible to author a DVD to display these through the TV?

Basically I want to create a sort of mini movie where I transition between shots to music & voice overs. I think this will be the easiest way to share them with friends. Having never authored a DVD before, not really sure if this is possible or where to start.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

ulead video studio.

im assuming its digital camera as you dont want to have to scan pictures into the comp.

your able to put background music, titles, dvd menus, and transitions between photos.

any help pm me.

Adobe premiere.

Easy once you get the hang of it for this sort of stuff.
I've done heaps of them (a nice little earner... ;) )

Add music and transitions etc.

Just make sure your pics are formatted correctly to fit the tv screen etc.

Thanks for the tips, much appreciated.

Is is safe to assume that most DVD authoring software could be used with digitals pics instead of digital video? What $ are these products worth? Any good shareware out there?

Know of any good web sites with info on authoring & copying DVDs. I'm keen to get a good handle on how this stuff works technically.
