Sorry if this is on the wrong board (or even if I'm not supposed to post this) but I've just discovered my DVD player/recorder isn't region free. I'm just wondering if there is a way to get around this? Like is there any free codes or whatever?

You can sometimes find codes on the web. Google your model name/number and "unlock region".

I had googled it but I didn't even put in my model name etc! Thanks for that. All good now if anyone has an LG recorder/player just go to setup and then go to the lock and keep pressing 0 until it says it's unlocked. Why don't they just make them all unlocked?
