send him away for the rest of the year, great kid going to be a 10 year key defender so get it right and do it properly.

I'm no expert but the cycle of tear/repair brings with it scar tissue and that's not ideal. I'd rather him miss remainder of 2012 but in any case quite likely he won't. Might just add extra couple of weeks to him being on sidelines, should still be OK from Rd 19-20

good stuff..need to leave no stone unturned in finding a solution to the problem..We cant rely on the usual methods now, because we need continuity without thinking each week, is this the week it goes again.
Because blind freddy can see that it will reoccur.
Tipping its to do with his back too, probably got a disc out of kilter that pulls on the bask muscles that then extend down to the hammy..

Yup, provide him with the bset possible care and give him the best possible chance going forward into next season. If it means a longer period on the sidelines I'd fully support such a decision.

Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahr must be the bees knees, Have a look at his Wiki. Club doctor at Bayern Munich, has treated Bolt, Ronaldo, Gerrard, Kewell, Maurice Green, Bono...

yep and now all those names will pale into insignificance when his wiki page states, has treated Dylan Grimes from tigerland, oh we're from tigerland, a fighting fury we're from tigerland....oh and by the way, he is also club doctore of Bayern Munich and treated a few others..

thats what worries me..gerrard and kewell still both have very dodgey hammies :(

He fixed Mark Coughlan up with great longterm results - just that Cog's had been out for nearly three years by the time it was done and the game had just passed him by.

Hope I get this right. On Talking Tigers they talked about Grimes and it was mentioned they were able to isolate the cause of his injury, so in the long run they should prevent it from occurring again. Supposedly he had a hundred odd cows blood jabs to hasten the repairing of his hammy and were Richmond to play finals this year he could be back for it by then, otherwise expect the season.

Expect something official on the RFC website.
