Just over a month until the hype train returns. Rumours have begun and some events have been announced, so let's get cracking.

OP to be updated when more information comes through.

Conference Times
Microsoft's press conference will be at 2:30 AM AEST on Tuesday the 10th.
EA's will be at 5 AM AEST on Tuesday the 10th.
Ubisoft's will be at 8 AM AEST on Tuesday the 10th.
Sony's will be at 11 AM AEST on Tuesday the 10th.
Nintendo's live event will be at 2 AM AEST on Wednesday the 11th.

Expecting mass announcements from all of the big three.

Nintendo almost certain to show something Zelda related.
Microsoft have been hinting at having a huge E3.
Halo 2 HD and a bunch of other IP to be unveiled. Would be nice if they go bold and ditch Kinect so they can compete with Sony price wise.

Same goes for Sony, they can't just rest on Driveclub, The Order & Uncharted.

Everyone is holding their cards close to their chest in order to have a blowout at E3.

It'll go a fair way in deciding each console's fate for the next 18 months, maybe more it is that important.

The biggest question will The Guardian finally be shown! That game has had more delays than Duke Nukem.

My only two wishes, 2D metroid on the 3ds a sequel to fusion and a new Crash game but as with every E3 i'll get over hyped and leave disappointed with more water cooler promises.
 
Just hoping for something other than what we're all expecting.
Usually look forward to what Nintendo have to offer, though.
Hope Sony look after the Vita this time around.
 
I'm excited.

Last year's E3 was the best one in years. I got the two sequel announcements I'd been waiting for the most in Kingdom Hearts III & Mirror's Edge 2.

I'm expecting big things again.

It's going to be weird having someone other than Jack Tretton on the mic, he really owned that role last year.
 
Hopefully Nintendo return to the E3 stage this year. Sony should show some Uncharted, announce some more first party titles, hopefully media molecules project. MS have a bit of work to do to get me excited, outside of Quantum Break there's nothing new I'm hyped about at the moment as the console gathers dust :(, RE7 exclusive rumor would be good.... if the game is the complete opposite of 6 and FFS let RARE make a real game, no more Kinect projects, Conkers Bad Fur Day 2, a new Banjo or GTFO.

Wont be able to watch it live this year (was on holidays last year), got an RDO the day before E3, doesnt help me at all.....work scheduling fail.

Nintendo are dying a slow death, they need to pull a cat out of the bag this year.

Interested in seeing more of Quantum Break, it looks the goods and if a couple of other games spike my interest i will grab a system i reckon.

I hear that a violent bout of gastro will hit around June ;)

I doubt they expect the Wii U to massively turn around at this point, although they can still stem the bleeding. The 3DS is now in the latter half of its life cycle.

But they are nowhere near dying. Not even close.

Yea sorry i was mainly talking about the Wii U, just poorly worded.
Also how do you reckon they can stem the bleeding if devs aren't interested in making games for the thing?

i mostly want a wii u zelda announcement and a 3ds super metroid game that gets the "link between worlds" treatment.

won't matter what MS let them do. didn't the last of the 64-era rare talent leave after nuts n bolts?

Rare is dead. Is any of the talent from their Nintendo days still there at all?

Does this mean that you'll be able to see Microsoft's conference? Don't they normally go earlier than everyone else?

Clinging to the tiniest of hopes Nintendo will exit the home console market & become third party developers. Almost certain not to happen with Iwata as the CEO though.

Also, why on Earth are people expecting anything from Rare nowadays? They're have an entirely new staff compared to what they had 15 years ago; don't have anywhere near the same talent, vision & creativity as they did with the Stamper Brothers at the helm.

Given most of their revenue is from hardware sales that would be an incredibly silly move.
 
The RARE thing is more about utilising the IPs they own, regardless of who's still there or not.

Whether they could pull off a decent Banjo Kazooie, Conker or Perfect Dark is another thing but we'll never know if they keep making Kinect rubbish.

So hopefully at E3 its announced RARE is working on something for X1 that isn't Kinect Sports.
