I will never buy another game that they have created again.

I recently spent nearly 100 of my hard earned dollars on Tiger Woods 08 only to have it freeze constantly inbetween the 2 and 3rd holes of a tournament and on several Tiger challenges.

Thinking it may be a problem with the disk itself I took it back and got a fresh version.

I then went to some gaming forums to see if a solution existed only to find out that EA games has admitted to having released the game knowing of the problem and that a patch should be coming out soon. For online players only at this stage.

How the f**k can they release a game knowing full well that people may not be able to finish it due to bugs running through the whole game.

That is disgusting, surely they have broken a law there. Releasing a game which can't be played at all, and even admitting to knowing about it. Surely the same thing would have happened when they tested it but they were more worried about deadlines and $$$$ instead of the consumer.

meh, screw simulation sporting games in general ....especially by EA..... the need to sell the same game every year means that feature creep is a huge problem leading to needlessly complicated gameplay. I stopped buying their sports games during the PS1 era.

I'd recommend Hot shots Golf or any other golfing game made by Camelot software. They've found the perfect mix of arcade fun and real life physics.

I have so many EA games it aint funny...

From Sega to Ps1 to Ps2 to 360..

From NHL 04 to NBA 99 to Cricket 2004 to Tiger Woods 06 to Madden 06 to FIFA 07.

I have every EA crickt game except '02 - and they are all shit.

But I love sport to much - so I put up with them.

Find an internet connection, plug in, and download the patch for free. Its pretty easy. Takes 5 min if that.

I have the game in question on 360. Didn't have any issues pre patch...don't have any now either tbh.

EA can be a bit crap tho...i'll give you that
