They took the best time from either session as their fastest lap.

Hence Skaifey did his in Session 1, and he wasn't able to beat it in session 2.
 
So far,so good for Ambrose.He won race 1,with Skaife coming 8th and Murphy 24th :D .

Skaife got a drive-thru penalty after jumping the start,while Murphy got a drive-thru penalty for spinning Seton off track [onya Seton ;) ].

So it looks as though Ambrose only has to come about 30th tomorrow to win the championship.
 
To seal the championship, Marcos needs to finish 31st or better tomorrow. If he does not finish Murphy needs to win and hope that Skaife does not finish on the podium. If Murph wins and Skaifey finishes 2nd, then Skaifey is still the champ on adjusted points by 3 points to Murph and 8 points on Marcos.

INterestingly enough if Skaifey finishes ahead of Murph tomorrow then Skaife is 2nd in the title chase.

Well done Ambrose. Deserved the win for sure.

Can't say the same for his teammate. Ingall is a thug and should be punished for that piece of stupidity that cost Skaifey 2nd spot in the title race. There was no need for it and no wonder Mark reacted in that way.

Sorry my opinion is they were driving side by side in a straightline a bit of biff and barge and Skaife has come off second best there was nothing malicious in it;) The Stewards have decided it was a 'racing Incident' glad they had the sence to see it that way, cause that is exactly what it was;)
 
Poor little cry baby Mr no personality Skaife has a cry because he only had 90% of the road and wanted 95% of it.
Even funnier than him spinning his ****heap car out of the race was when he tried to look tough and waive his fist at Ingall only to **** himself when Ingall returned the favour by baulking at him.
I havent laughed that hard since Port choked in the AFL finals.

Latest from the officials was that it was a "race incident" and rightly so, makes cry baby Skaife look even sillier now.

Look on the bright side Skaify, no one remembers 2nd or 3rd, makes no difference sunshine.:D

It's as simple as this they were bumping each other Ingall was trying to stay on the track and protect his driving line and the front of Ingalls car has made contact with Skaife's and has turned Skaife around and into the wall, Skaife made himself look like a right tool by waiting for Ingall to come around again and having a go at him and then Skaife storming into the SBR garage was just stupid, Skaife is a sook and a arrogant prick, he hates losing and he has lost out BIGTIME in 2003.
