Would have liked to as a lead up to IM melbourne next year but Shepparton 70.3 is on the same day. But did ride it 8 times before it opened!!

How windy does this road get? Everytime i drive along it, it feels like a bit of a wind tunnel. Im 50/50 on doing the untimed 75km one, can manage the distance and can easy get the ave. speed they have down, but have only had a bike a couple of months and always ride solo.

I've had a ride down the side bike path but that was a couple of years ago. I think it can get quite windy does have a bit of a wind tunnel effect. What I do remember is it being not as flat as you might imagine with long gradual uphill and downhills. Then again, I didn't ride as much then as I do now.
