Question on Street Fighter X Tekken, could you go into detail about how the gems affected the gameplay and convince me it's not shit and something that will ruin the game. Thanks.

Unlikely. It was just your run of the mill co-op fnatasy game. Didn't see anything to show that it will be anything other than average. Seemed to be the general consensus between the managers

Sonic generations was pretty sexy

I don't even like Need for Speed games but NFS: The Run has my attention.

The maps are a lot smaller (the ones we played at least) and not too many 2nd story sniper spots

Strafe chopper is just like you mentioned. They make a few passes over the allocated area and eliminate the opposition. it would seem a decent choice for a 7th kill streak

ok that sounds good to me. snipers don't bother me though i get the feeling everybody is going to try and quickscope in this game since it has that crazy fast aim down sights for them again like mw2.
i'm sure there will still be plenty of spots but as long as they create maps with good flow and cover areas to outmanoeuvre opponents then it will be fine.

also that killstreak sounds pretty cool....not sure how i'll approach this game. not sure if i'll go assault or support.
with support i can basically guarantee going around to the highest streaks twice each with the amount of objectives i complete and amount of kills i can basically guarantee a match....
but with assault and good net there is some serious molesting potential now i have sweet net. i don't think that specialist class is unlocked til you hit the final level (whatever that is) so i won't have to worry about that until i max out to the point where you're allowed to prestige.

Did you play anything else on 3DS? I'm keen on Super Mario 3D Land, but my concerns are it's going to be a very short game. Did you feel this?

We only got 15 mins with Vita on the floor. We also got a tech demo of the Little Big Planet game on the stage where they were showing how the front and back touch screens can all make the difference in regards to making puzzles harder. Was very clever. They also showed the video of how to put real life items into the create side of the game

On the floor we got to play UC. I thought the sticks felt a bit weird, as i prefer them diagonally across from each other (like a 360 controller) as opoosed to directly across (like a PS3 controller) but i'm sure if you're used to a PS3 controller, this won't be a problem

Playing the game, you had to use the touch screen in certain cases to solve a puzzle or get Drake up onto a ledge and the such. The graphics were gorgeous and the screen was much better than i expected

I also played Kid Icarus and Mario Kart on 3DS. I don't think length will be a problem with Mario Land, as some of the puzzles take some working out

Depending on what games are coming out next year i might have to head up to Sydney
