Ed Clark (not the one that played for NSW)

Won the best on ground medal for the Uni Blues in the A grade amateurs grand final last weekend. Any chance someone liike this could be drafted?

Apparently he had played less than half the season and it was by far his best match for the year. Is a very big boy with a huge left foot kick and is only 20. But for him to be drafted would be way out of l;eft field...........but then again, Matt McCarthy for Old Xavs 3 years showed a lot less form than Clark has..............Who knows???

anyone got any word on other possible 'over age' draftees?

have'nt been able to find too much information on any of these types of possible players around here.

Just a little story about Ed as I do know him. I live at Newman College which is on campus at Melbourne University and Ed attended here last year and first semester this year. Newman has always been extremely strong at football but in the last few years has begn to struggle as the new admin are not at all interested in accepting good sportsmen into the college... Anyway our first 2 games of the year which were in first semester we belted Ormond and Triinity with Ed being easily best on ground in both games. The mid semester break came and we were hot favourites for the flag. As admin saw that we were a good chance to win the premiership and did not want to put up with weeks of partying, they decided they would kick Ed out of college as they said he was an 'intimidating' character. We then proceeded to lose our next 2 games to Queens and St Hilda's and failed to make the grand final

That's the biggest load of ********** i've ever heard.
You simply could not be kicked out of college for that reason.

Anyway to back to reality about Ed Clark he would be a genuine chance to get picked up very late in the draft or as a rookie. Type of guy that could work out beautifully but if he doesn't what have you lost by having a crack at him?
