I just don't get it. Every club has players from interstate, they all have players that want to go home, eg Begley, Black, Carr etc. Why don't we get any concessions?
And didn't Sydney take Jude BEFORE Hayes?
Really who gives a crap. The concessions are ending in a few years.

There aren't enough NSW/ACT players...

And didn't Sydney take Jude BEFORE Hayes?

There arent enough NSW/ACT players????? Whats your point? Maybe their not good enough. If they are good, everyone should get a chance to get them, like Lenny.

Heck Hayes was deemed as the 3 best NSW player of that year.

That's pure garbage. Hayes was the Rams captain, a mid-fielder and if I remember correctly the under 18's Morris medal winner.

You guys stuffed up, big time.but tough t***ies as the saying goes. Your loss our gain. ;)

If I remember correctly he was injured and unable to play in the u/18 championships in his final year. That may have contributed to him falling down the order. I'm not complaining. ;)

McQualter was captain of Vic Country but was injured early in game 1. Let's hope John Beveridge has taken another kid that didn't get a chance to showcase his talent on the big stage.

Yet Mark McVeigh was taken before him and the other was Nick Davis was taken as a Father Son selection. All rated better than Lenny at that time, but as we all know now, that didn't turn out to be the case.

If the Swans were to have selected a local like everyone claims we should have we would of taken McVeigh and not Hayes, thus still leaving him to you.

We made a huge mistake yes, but we can't change things now can we.
