Started like a house on fire in his 3 games in 2007, didn't seem to draw too much attention in i think the 7 games he played this season. How do you guys see this boy going forward? Is he a big part of your future? Will he play a lot next year? Or didn't he come along this year as much as you hoped?

He should be good. I read a article afew months ago where he admitted that he was injured for most of the season which is one of the reasons why he didnt play to well at the begining of the season.

If he can get over his injuries then i think this kid will have a big future.

This will be the year he steps up. I'm predicting he'll be one of the elite players in the comp within 2 years.

Now we all love our Swans player's but c'mon, lets not get to carried away.

I'd don't make big calls like that very often. I just think he ticks all the boxes to be something special, just needs a little more time and experience to put it all together.

It's too early to call, but he certainly has all the ingredients!

True but i often find when im cooking when i have the right ingrediants the meal always ends up tasting horrible.

But for some strange reason when i stuff up the ingrediants (like accidntly putting 200% more cheese) it ends up tasting alot better. Brett Kirk is the perfect example of a meal which has all the wrong ingrediants but for some reason it ends up tasting really nice.

That's a very cheesy analogy....

I'm pretty sure all these jokes were already covered in the 'If Swans players were pizzas' thread?

I prefer this one:

His debut was one of the best I've seen and I saw it live and got an absolute buz.

In the final that year I thought he was a liability and showed he had a long way to go

This year was frustrating to see him start with so much promise especially against Brisbane to almost be the one to blame against West Coast even though we somehow won.

Back related Hammys are not a good sign I really hope it is not something that will forever plague him and is mearly a set back not good signs for the lad but hopefully he is over a potentially serious injury that can kill a careeer. Knees seem to be a repairable part but back problems just tend to be a manageable proposition. Fingers crossed he is the exception as his potential is so obvious.

i'm still not convinced

he only really promised in his debut season.... little inference for a good career can be drawn from that

but i'm probably being too judgemental...... he has a tall, gangly, lanky look.... which puts me off

so for now i reckon he can be a solid member of the starting 22, but doubt he'll be the type to be ranked in the top 10 for the club (now or the future)
