If i remember correct we were fighting with the Crows over him last year and lost. Looking back I would of loved to of got him to the club really think he could of added a lot to our group and changed a few results.

Nahas is definitely 'value for money', but I wouldn't go that far. Betts has x-factor in abundance and kicks goals.

Agree. Really like Nahas' energy and attitude and he's help around the ground. But Betts is in a different class in terms of kicking goals and making defenders soil themselves.

Was disappointed we missed out on Betts but the club gave it a good shot. Just wasn't to be.

I also think the move interstate has helped him a lot.

thats because he doesn't need to and obviously the coaching staff don't want him further up the ground. Its a shame we missed out on him he would have been huge for us in the forward line.

I honestly don't think you'd have cared about the price tag when he and Lindsay formed a formidable small forward double act.

All good points, and I certainly wasn't against us chasing him by any means. If, buts and maybes man, they're the real killers.

Betts is massively overrated. Having a good few weeks undoubtedly, but goes missing for months on end. Don't get me wrong, if we paid him $200k a year he'd be a good addition, but Lindsay Thomas is a better footballer than Betts, he just doesn't have the media love.

Betts is not worth half of what he's reportedly getting paid. Happy with Lindsay (one of the top few premier small forwards in the comp) and Robbie who was dirt cheap. Hopefully Harps comes on as well.

yeah little too much but if any club wants to poach other players you need to be prepared to pay overs, that is with any player on the market.

Credit to nahas, his value was a little undervalued. Would we have been able to score dal santo and betts on two seemingly large contracts? Nahas was a gamble that has paid off
