If i remember correct we were fighting with the Crows over him last year and lost. Looking back I would of loved to of got him to the club really think he could of added a lot to our group and changed a few results.

Nahas is definitely 'value for money', but I wouldn't go that far. Betts has x-factor in abundance and kicks goals. We got Nahas for much cheaper and he did what Betts probably would've done. Not much of a loss to me and I'd prefer the players we got through the draft.

Whoever was out for Nahas.Would love to have seen Betts line up with us.
But who goes out?
Betts doesn't quite get far enough up the ground for mine (granted, I probably haven't watched him enough to make an objective and accurate opinion), and I'm not sure how I would have felt about the price tag, especially when compared to Nahas. I also think the move interstate has helped him a lot.

thats because he doesn't need to and obviously the coaching staff don't want him further up the ground. Its a shame we missed out on him he would have been huge for us in the forward line.
I honestly don't think you'd have cared about the price tag when he and Lindsay formed a formidable small forward double act.

Don't think many NMFC fans would not have wanted Betts at a price but didn't he want $700k plus a year? Seems overs.
Still too much I reckon. But can't question his form right now.that was all rumours, it was closer to $550,000 - $600,000

Fair call - I suppose it just comes down to a value judgement.yeah little too much but if any club wants to poach other players you need to be prepared to pay overs, that is with any player on the market.

why, its not like we are spending anywhere near the cap limit?550-600k? Do not want
I can find better ways to spend it and so can many other people.why, its not like we are spending anywhere near the cap limit?
