just scanned a few documents and saved them as a pdf, tried editing them on a pdf editor and it recognised the entire document as one single image.

question is to how to convert the image scanned into a document where u can edit it without changing the entire format or setup in other works keeping the same font and such as the original document

ive tried omnipage and saved it to word wasnt too good. tips will be greatly appreciated.
 
Probably the best off the shelf product is Omipage Pro by Nuance..
It has a function in it called batch manager and it automates a lot of scanning issues.

Adobe makes Pagemaker pro but I don't think it's as good.

Office 2007 the full version has a OCR on it but it is pretty average.
There are some free OCR apps but because OCR is a pretty hard thing to get right, they are pretty much crap..........
