Gunnar, even if our mob was crap, there's no way in the world we'd admit it...to be more specific no football supporter no matter which team they go for will actually ever admit that their team is crap.

I never invited a comparison between WC and Essendon.

I didn't come onto this board saying "We're better than you".

I gave an honest assessment of where I felt your list was at, and 6 weeks in, your results and ladder position support that assessment.

If you insist on comparing WC and Essendon, that's a separate discussion. Suffice to say, West Coast are monties to play finals this year, while Essendon are almost out of the race.

Hypotheticals about WC "choking" don't count for much. Not when Essendon are already confronted with the grim reality of being spectators come September.

Yes our results, and our ladder position may seem support your assement. But Gunmar, as Philzsay pointed out just few posts earlier, you based your arguments on flawed logic. There's more to football than results and ladder positions - if that were not the case, Collingwood would be premiership favourites right now. If you'd watched our games in 2006, you'd realize that the bottom half of our list is not the weakest is has been in 10 years, that's not why we're in for a "tough season".

Thus your argument is without merit. You've come back to the board to highlight that. Very humble of you. That's okay though - predicting footy can be pretty tough!
