EFC highlights of the year ?

Despite losing over the weekend the way we did, i've been very happy with the year. It was a helluva lot more exciting than 2002, even though we ended up finishing the exact same way...

Anyway my top EFC highlights for 2003...

James Hird - will never cease to amaze me.

Anzac - A masterpiece. Hird + Cupido playing their best games for the season on the same day, what more could you want ? An 11 goal victory ? Why the hell not.

Vs Bris at the Dome - That was so f***ing sweet. Amazing atmosphere.

Final win over Freo - Didn't think we had it in us. Great team performance.

Rama - How good was he early in the season in the middle ? Brownlow form. Tragic about the illness. Praying he can make it back, for his sake and ours.

Number 8 - Was great to see Winderlich running around in it (albeit briefly). Liked the look of him too; speed, skills, poise. Hopefully he can get a good preseason in.

My highlight was seeing my only reserves game at kardinia park bendigo bombers v geelong. And seeing darren walsh burn off his opponants with raw speed and kicking goals. Winderlich the same. Laycock looking very dangerous and athletic. Johns hitting the ball hard and having the cats defenders ****ting themselves with his prescence.

Not to mention harvey,hunt, richards, watson and the like are exciting youngsters and we have an exciting young list which nobody except us seem to know about. Its the best group of kids ive seen at the club for 8 years and i for one cant wait for the pre-season to see these kids come on and lead us towards a flag in the near future.

Keeping my run of missing 4 in 30 years going, almost stuffed up with an engagement party. Some people have no idea.
