Ahead of Essendon Football Club’s relocation to its new High Performance Centre at Melbourne Airport, the club is calling on fans for their assistance as we invest in a Time Capsule.

The club’s Time Capsule will incorporate memorabilia and paraphernalia to recognise and honour our significant past at Windy Hill.

We want your help and are asking all of our fans to submit their suggestions to what memorabilia or item should be included in the Time Capsule and why in 50 words or less by emailing timecapsule@essendonfc.com.au.

There will be 20 items included in the Time Capsule with one lucky entrant receiving the ultimate prize pack.

The prize pack includes:
- An invitation to be present at the prestigious Time Capsule Ceremony at the opening of the new High Performance Centre (date to be advised). This is strictly non-transferrable.
- Double pass to Essendon’s 140th year honorary game against Carlton in Round 11.
- A team-signed 2013 guernsey.

that doesn't really seem like the ultimate prize pack. and why can we afford a massive supplements programme but can only bury 20 items? Sort it out Essendon#donatetoflightplan

bury Gumby's medical records. try to find a picture of Tim Watson babysitting Dustin Fletcher and bury that.

They'd have to get in an excavator to dig a hole big enough for those.

Dustin Fletcher's Subiaco tooth.

Wouldn't that involve extracting it from his mouth? I'm pretty sure the tooth was found, put in a glass of milk and reattached after the game.

But, I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures.
