I want people with the kahuna's to say they'll put themselves up to the members vote and also say that they will get rid of Hardwick, Hartley and Jackson. A huge on field change is needed to change the clubs fortunes. The current board cannot see that while even blind Freddy can.
I do not accept that we've had ANY SUCCESS in the last 7 years. Not a single finals victory is a pathetic return from the footy department.

Need a bit more info... hopefully tonight sheds some more light.
Really dont like peggy and her smug attitude.

I agree with your assessment of peggy, something about her irks me

The truth is, that right now I have the same very very limited enthusiasm about any of the available options.
Can not see a clear achievable plan from anyone.

What I do still have embedded in my brain is getting up and leaving the SCG 9 days ago about 10 minutes in the last qtr to the sound of Bronx, mocking cheers from Swans supporters as we slotted our 4th goal for the whole afternoon to drag the margin back to 130 odd points.

Was a truly wonderful way to end another footy year of supporting the Tigers.

This kind of shit does my head in! I'm not sure I can be bothered sifting through piles of bullshit and rhetoric that is sure to be sprouted in the coming weeks to try and find out who has the best actual plan rather than the best story. I haven't watched the whole press conference. Did the challenge ticket mention any actual details of their plan?

I'm not sure how it's in the best interests of the RFC to play this out so publicly. I'd be interested to know if the challenge ticket actually requested some form of meeting with the current board before today's nonsense. Looks like we will implode as a footy club once again.

I'll vote for the current board.
Other than one (big) mistake, they've actually got the club in a good position.
Yes, I realise the mistake to renew Hardwick's contract was a major **** up but other than that, I don't have a lot to complain about how the club is being run.

Who's going to be held to account for the poor drafting and trading? The poor game plan?

In essence, the the things that make or break a football club on the field.

Sacking five of dimmas foot soldiers and a couple of vfl players isn't the widespread change id expect after promising fans the world and then giving them an atlas.

Its a performance based industry a wise man said once or 22 times this year and so the chiefs all have to be held responsible for the debacle of 2016 because they are the ones that control what goes on inside the four walls of tiger land.

i'd support Bruce Monteath joining the board all the others are meh. Really not fussed about the board, only bad thing they've done is the re-appointment of Hardwick when it wasn't needed. What we should do is appoint a few blokes to work together and be in charge of the whole football department then those decisions aren't left to board but they still consult the board. Like Balme and someone else. At the same time kick FJ out the door.

The problem is it was close the worst decisions in the club's history and you will reward those very people that made it. I find that hard to stomach.

I feel that these would be more appropriate for our club. Can you image Gillon McLachlan addressing this board?

Melodramatic much?
Not even close to the worst decision.

im pretty sure more will be sacked in the next week or two

Maybe I should have said recent history. It is still a huge mistake. What makes it worse is that Hardwick was still contracted for the year. There was no need to make it when we did. If things started to go pear shape that would have justified waiting. And then to not only extend his contract but to extend it by 2 years, goes down as the most stupid thing any administration has done in recent times. It is an absolute joke.
