You're spot on about G final. It should be about grounds, but ye they do consider stuff about facilities. change rooms canteen carpark toilet smells!! and even umpires change rooms.

On the subject of change rooms. Are Cora Lynns visitors rooms better than the Goons. Neerims? Ellinbanks? Longwarry's? Dusties? Bunyips? Nyora's?

Cora Lynn for the flag, Kimber for the Brownlow.

Garfield and Dusties have the best away rooms, but players would rather get changed in a tent and play on a good ground than have the best rooms and play on a mudpit.

Yeah would prefer to play on a good ground than worry about rooms.

Nar Nar Goon would prob have the worst away rooms in the league
 
I would have to say that Western Park would have the best change rooms. The away rooms for the Dusties are Warragul home rooms, so both rooms are equally as good as each other.

My tip is a Bunyip V Cora Lynn grand final with Cora Lynn running over the top in the last quarter.

For league B & F, good luck trying to work out what is going through the umpires minds, but with Hobgen not being a dominant this year, Brewster will take the nhonours this year.

Forgot about Ellinbank cos that is a toilet of a place. Buln Buln away rooms are better than the goons. Nar Nar Goons are tiny.

What about nyora's milking shed and although they were hot the showers are built for short people. Ellinbank away rooms are the worst for mine
 
I was mainly talking about grounds that host finals when saying the Goons were the worst in the league cos i agree Ellinbanks are terrible.

Ha ha. When I first rolled up there in 1995 I couldnt believe what we were getting changed in. Corrigated Iron shed with what looked to be 6 different attempts at laying the concrete. Our home room was about 6m long and about 4m wide and I think from memory we had 2 shower nozzles. The only window in the room was about 2' x 2' and it had bars on it...lmao

Smoking during half time and in the showers, not to mention sneaking a quick puff off one of the punters at 1/4 and 3/4 time. They were the days.

Falcor I remember playing up there at Ellinbank in about 2006 and Debbie Tyson was running the water for the seniors and went in to refill the water bottles and got a wack of 240v from the tap. LOL

Our away rooms are tiny but didnt think the showers were that bad. Ellinbank was an actual milking shed.

As plugger said darnums were the worst. In the old poowong ones they had fireplace in the middle of the home rooms.
 
Season over for 9 teams now so I thought I would do a quick review.

KWR - Finished with 6 on the trot including beating Dusties and Buln, look to be improving but this happens every second year at KWR. WOuld be hoping to recruit more and play finals next year if Shorey stays.

NNS - Dissapointing year I think after making the GF, Urie obviously a huge loss. PLenty of young guys so shouldnt be far away next year.

Ellinbank - Improvement on last year, some good young players but would need to recruit to make finals.

Nyora - Similar to Ellinbank.

Lang Lang - Major failure looking from the outside, most thought they should play finals at the start of the year, 5 wins is very dissapointing and no u/18s.

Nilma Darnum - Very good year, 4 wins is 4 more than most expected at the start of the year. Hopefully they can get some juniors and not go backwards again next year.

Buln Buln - Been average for a few years now for a club that dominated the league for a long time. Big play for Eastwell to come back next year maybe?

Poowong - Very young side as well, rely far to much on Bergels to win any game. Talk of spending up nexy year on a lot of former players now at Killy-bass as its some kind of celebration year, 125 years maybe?. Also been in talks with some more kids from Korumburra already.

Longwarry - Winless season so very poor year, probably need a coach from outside the club to move back up the ladder.
 
Terrible year for Lang Lang losing last 10 games. Injuries didn't help but think the problems run a lot deeper than that.
 
According to the Cora Lynn players they already have it in the bag and are looking at back to back next year. Impressive win on the weekend fellas, congratulations.

yep thats cora lynn for ya. i'm goin for bunyip they play as a team theres no hero's which is exactly what u need to win the big day, cora lynn too many blokes wanna be the star on the main stage and it will come back to bite them e.g. robinson, kirkland, gillis

Impressive win??? I think not.

They were undisciplined. Were arguing amongst themselves in the forward line.
Beat a team that was well and truly undermanned.
Were nearly beaten on the last kick of the game.

I'm thinking that they'll be having a good hard look at themselves.

More like a far from impressive win. And I won't even talk about the for and against tally.
