email probs

My hotmail is giving me the pips - for some reason when I use the forward/reply commands the people I'm sending my email to don't receive it.
Why would this be?
I've decided to change my email address, can someone recommend a good free email service.
I would go to yahoo, but it seems any names that I pick are chosen, can you believe?
Your advice is welcome.

Your Hotmail account may not let you reply because it is over the storage limit. You'll have to delete some messages. When it's over the limit, it won't let you send any emails...or recieve any emails.

But a good email I also use is www.email.com
