Loves Flemington, most swoopers do, and has got one of the best jockeys on board in Michael Rodd and he's arguably the inform jockey in Australia.

Conquering & Mimi Lebrock the only dangers in my eyes.

Sea Battle for me. Although this race invariably throws up the unexpected it looks the right horse for this race on form, weights etc.

Bank Robber and Orange County for the placings.

Agree with you on Sea Battle, All Silent finished strongly last start who might challenge. Sea Battle has an awkward barrier again but I thought that last time and look what happened!

mimi lebrock for me,drew a decent barrier this time and last run was enormous and doesnt mind give in the ground.i will be taking her with sea battle for the win with 4 6 7 9 10 12 for the second and third.get on el danna in the matriach stakes, hit the line hard last start and 2000m will suit her down to the ground.

Snipers Bullet a moral. All Silent Unders. The roughies if they get in are Pinnacles whos been set for this and ran a huge race form wide draw in the Doncaster and Majestical who off top of my head is unbeaten at the trip.

Mentality is the best horse in the race and the miler in the country at Randwick, but obviously this isnt Randwick. Top weight usually does not win this race.

Being in Sydney not sure what the rain situation is in Melb but on a decent track:

All Silent
Sea Battle
Niconero

Safe option with the first 2 but I have done well from them in the past and do feel they are the class horses in the race.

If it is wet, I'll adjust my bets accordingly.

Has won the race once, finished 2nd, and a 4th last year.
Is reportedly going as well as ever this time in and has been set for the race as usual. More down in weight than he is used to, drawn to sit back and outside and swoop home. Also has a win in the heavy so rain is a plus. Take 21-1 any day of the week my friends

top win by all silent. Dont know what it is about bank robber. Clearly super talented but seems to die in the 1600's , as it died late in the epsom and let theseo win when it had no right too. taking nothing away from all silent just an observation on the robber. Could it be maturity? fitness? i dunno any opinions on this would be nice. or was it just to quick a race (didnt get to see all only got home for last 400m from work)
