He shouldn't have commented on Yang in the first place. It was a disgracefully poor action and incredibly disrespectful to his fellow competitors and the sport. He put himself in this position by aiming to be seen as a knight in shining armour in terms of doping within sport. He's been put in a bad position, but he contributed to getting himself there in the first place.

Australia has consistently taken the moral high ground when it comes to doping in sport when the likes of Thorpe, Freeman and O'Neill were just as dirty as anybody else.

so what you’re saying is Horton should only care about dopers if he stands to lose out against one, and that he doesn’t/shouldn’t care about them if they’re in other sports or events?
