That may not be a word, but if you go to this site, you will start watching Enterprise, as well as gain a healthy respect for female vulcans.

HELL YEAH MOOSTER!! She is pretty fine! Good show though overall. Only thing i cant stand about it is the gay opening song?? What the hell is that about, where is the majestic score that accompanied Next Gen, Deep Space Nine and Voyager? It doesnt feel like Star Trek with that stupid song at the beginning.

Jod,

Yup, she's a hottie. At first I thought perhaps she was too thin. Then I forced myself to get over it.;) Now I am trying to convince myself that my obsession is a healthy one.

I agree with you about the opening theme music. I don't care for it either. I do like the Captain. He's no Kirk, but he gets into fights and kisses the girls unlike some other (bald) sissy captains I could mention.

Honestly, other than sports, history and the learning channels, I don't watch much TV. I do like this show. It was on tonight. The Vulcan took command of the ship and kicked some ass. On 'Next Generation' they were always trying to resolve their problems diplomatically. You could grow old waiting for them to fire their weapons.

That's what good Sci Fi is all about: space ships, laser weapons, fights with space ships & laser weapons, and hot alien chicks.

Peace,

Peace,

You cant knock Next Gen though, clearly the best of all the Star Trek series. The originals suck, i cant stand them, probably because im 21 but man i just cant watch Kirk and Spock etc etc...

Agree with Next Gen being the best. Lots of strong and interesting characters in that one, something which the Enterprise seems to lack, but its still early.

The big question is when an who is going to get into the Vulcan's pants first?

The Captain is the clear cut favorite but you never know.

Well I thought the actors acted like they were carved out of pine and lacquered. The theme song is a steaming pile of turds. The vulcan chick doesn't act like a vulcan and she pouts like someone just smacked her in the mouth, and the ship looks like a piece of crap.

Other than that I quite enjoyed it, the show seems to have a lot of potential and given time will mature into a decent show.
Hopefully they won't base any episodes around:
a) the holodeck
b) a transporter malfunction
c) teaching a robot/borg/anythiny human emotions

Not that I have ever watched a star trek episode though

:o :o

RacerX,

You're right. She does have a mouth. Although I have been smitten with her for months, I hadn't yet worked my way up to noticing her face just yet. ;) It WAS on my list of things to do. I was also the last to notice that Seven of Nine had metal crap on her eyebrow.

I must have been focusing on their...acting. I think it is wonderful how their roles are empowering to women, eh?

Yup, the show hasn't quite find its' footing. So far, they have been avoiding some of the Star Trek cliches. However, with all the advances in special effects and computer animation, they still haven't got past the "forehead of the week" style of making aliens.

We all seem at least to agree on two things:

1. The opening theme music needs a change

2. As men, our duty in a modern society to respect women

:D
