Who do we play as striker this week? One of the LBs? Maybe the 17 year old? Lets give Neto a run up top, couldn't be worse than Sterling.Yeah our game against United won't be one for the ages.
4-4 penciled in.No idea where the goals are coming for us. Man U v Arsenal feels like the movable object vs the stoppable force. Probably a game where first goal wins.
If you have troubles sleeping, it might be the game for you.
It's boring. We've all moved on to next season already.![]()
For me, Salah and VVD will stay. Alexander Arnold will go. Diaz and Nunez will depend if Liverpool can find a buyer at the price Liverpool will be looking for. At a guess Diaz will go and Nunez will stay.Is going to be a massive off-season
Was speaking to a red fan today and his thoughts were
TAA ends up staying (I would be surprised)
Salah will stay but his wife wants to leave (I reckon he leaves)
VVD is the one that goes to Madrid. (I reckon he stays)
Diaz and Nunez also leave. (Agree on those)
I reckon deep down the stats nerds at our club want Salah to leave.
This is the most realistic option that I am comfortable with happening. For me, Salah and VVD will stay. Alexander Arnold will go. Diaz and Nunez will depend if Liverpool can find a buyer at the price Liverpool will be looking for. At a guess Diaz will go and Nunez will stay.
Not good enough. Depends on what buyers are out there, of course. Why is Diaz going? Is he unhappy?

You won't find many backup LW's as good as Diaz. Might not be effective as a striker, but adds something different on the left. Not good enough. Depends on what buyers are out there, of course.
It's a weird one, at the end of this season he has two more years left on his contract. But we massively low balled him when he joined. He's on just 55k a week. Why is Diaz going? Is he unhappy?

Which is really criminally low for someone of his talent. I think Liverpool want to extend him but want to be as cheap as possible and let him earn 55k a week for another two years before in the final year of his contract, looking at maybe an extention.
But also, Diaz is 28 and when his contract ends he will be 30. So I can honestly see Liverpool letting his contract run down and letting him walk for free at 30. Having paid him just 55k a week for his entire stay at Liverpool and then getting a new LW.
I think Diaz is only unhappy cos he's getting paid much less than everyone else so might want out to maximise his earning while he is still 28. Like if we were to sell him in the summer and he goes somewhere else to earn 100-120k a week, it gets Diaz his bag.
And as I said, I dont think we want to re-negotiate the contract, think we're happy with him on 55k. So there might be some movement there in the summer. Perhaps sell cos he wants out to make more money, or we cave and pay him more.
That is of course going on when we need to re-new Konate as well and of course the three elephants in the room, Mo, Virg and TAA.
Summer window should be interesting.
