Error 0x0000000c

Can anyone help me get rid of this pesky error? im rewally annoyed atm all i wanna do is play aion. but no, i cant. **** sake.

Thats a pretty generic error code. It could mean

a) Its a result of spyware/malware thats infected your PC and deleted key system files and done some nasty damage.

or

b) Literally a registy problem which could be the result of new applications installed over the top of old ones and "piling" up the reg keys.

Im actually guessing its b) if there is only a problem when loading up the game and not any standard windows apps.

Id have a look at some Registry cleaning applications and uninstalling the game and re installing it. If you want to get a bit adventurous save your registry and see if you can pinpoint the corrupt registry keys.

If it does turn out to be a) get yourself some decent anti virus/spyware software. If it doesnt work through Windows try running it in safe mode with command line (as the operating system can hold spyware open meaning they will regenerate upon boot up).

If that doesnt work probably rebuild.
