Computers & Internet Error message when entering facebook

Nine out of ten times when I try and open facebook I get an error message saying 'Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home.
Operation aborted.' I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0.

It takes me about 10-15 tries before it lets me get into the site. Is there any way I can avoid this?

Use another browser. I get no problems with Firefox.

It might've been a predictable response, but seriously, IE is rubbish.

Had the same thing happen to me!!! So annoying, and it just gets worse, trust me.

Change to FF, like the others said. It never happens with it.

Same thing, so it's a god thing I don't use facespace much. It's the only website that does it. It usually only does it once if you close the error box & press F5.
