When you win back to back flags it's expected your supporters go off into fairyland but not sure what the excuse is for the supporters of a club that goes on an injection frenzy with little or no supervision of the snake oil salesman they hired to run the program or any decent record keeping to know what they actually injected into their players. And to top it off they extend the contract with a pay rise of the guy who instigated the program.

But let the brain washed, kool-aid drinking supporters blame everyone else but the people at the club actually responsible for the mess Essendon have ended up in.

I like the logic of Poster 1.

Poster 1: i'd like Fletch to retire, Get rid of Matty Egan an put Fletch there as Defence Coach

But then bizarrely you want to fire the coach of the only functioning part of our team to replace him with a champion who has never coached?

Poster 1: i never said i wanted the coach Fired.

i stated Get Rid of Matty Egan who is an Assistant Defence Coach. replace him with Fletcher which makes sense.

Respectfully it does not make any sense. None at all.

Poster 1: Hird is the senior coach, not the defence coach.

Egan is the assistant Defence Coach, im suggesting to get rid of him an put Fletcher there as Defence Coach instead, it makes sense to me.

So remove the line coach that has undoubtedly performed the best at his role....

Poster 1: well for starters, every player there currently loves Fletch an the ability he teaches the younger ones. with Fletchers experience plus with his Kids coming through the JHA his father will be able to handoff his experience to them when an or if they do play AFL football. plus other people around the club love Fletch as he's been there for 20+ years where as Egan hasnt got that type of experience .

So your whole argument is based around players loving Fletch, yet there's no evidence on whether he can have as good results as Egan. Egan is a ******* brilliant defensive coach, if we sack him I would lose my shit.

Egan has been an assistant coach since 2009. Fletch has no coaching experience.

Not at coaching he doesn't.
