Essendon's rucking

the rucking and the lack of centre clearances is what killed us last night (that and the kicking at goal). I reckon in the second half they got almost every centre clearance. I can understand laycock and Ryder not winning hitouts as they are young and adapting to AFL level etc but DAVID HILLE??? Hille only seems to win hitouts when he does that not go for the hit out and take the ball out of the ruck. That goal that Brogan got where he took it out of the ruck and snapped it really pi$$ed me off. Sheedy should have dragged Hille for that. He had just been in a ruck contest and somehow Brogan got 3 metres clear from Hille. How is that possible? Do you agree with my ranting?

We are poor now, Hille isnt a great tap ruckman but in saying that i cant see Hille playing in the ruck in front of Laycock and Ryder in a couple of years time.

Not that well IMO . Hasnt been in the form he was last season . He has had a couple of injuries but so far he would be on in some trouble as far as keeping his place on the list next year.
This week was an improvement for him but he is still short of what is required at this stage.
