...doesn't make sense to me

Probably should be starting but Haywood is a genuine 7 footer. Thomas is a little undersized to play the 5 spot.

Neither is anything special... but they're clearly trying to develop a Haywood/Brown front court for the future.

Haywood has shown glimpses, but Thomas gets the job done on BOTH ends.
