Wales came close in Euro 2016. Semi finalist.

There will be at least 1 underdog outside the top 7 nations- Spain, England, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Netherlands in the semis. I'm pretty sure about this.

Raheem Sterling at $50 for Top Goalscorer looks a bit big for me

I also Like Thomas Muller at around 34, and Goretzka at triple digits at 110

England have a fairly good draw.

Potentially 6 of their 7 games could be all played in London at Wembley which would be a significant advantage. There is the potential of a Spain v England quarter final in Italy if all things go to plan.

Surely this is England's tournament to lose?

Yeah Wales had one of the best players in the world at the peak of his powers. I honestly don't even know who the best Scottish player is

Laying England in major tournaments is the only play...every....single....time

Someone mentioned this on another forum.

This looks like the kind of tournament teams will be happy to qualify for the next stage. I mean With 24 teams, and 16 teams qualifying for the next stage, finishing 1st in a group is not that much of a priority. With 6 groups there, 4 teams finishing 3rd will make it to the next stage.

There are no good players in Scotland. They'll be lucky to get a draw in their group games

Your team has one of them in McTominay. Also heard a chap from Liverpool called Robertson? They will rely heavily on their Premier League contingent to do well though.

The Scottish Premier League teams did OK in europe but its still miles behind the Big 8 in Europe.

Speaking of Scotland, they are $2.52 to qualify for the Round of 16.

Whilst they are in a tough group where England are favourites to finish first, Croatia are runners up from the last World Cup. Still have a chance via the 4 best teams finishing 3rd. They have a sneaky chance against Czech republic. Got to also remember 2 of those games are in Glasgow at Hampden Park.

its probably more a 4 in 5 chance you qualify if your not from Group F in the Group of Death. Hungary will get slaughtered in that group- despite having 3 home games there.

Rangers did okay in Europa League. Celtic ran last in their group.
Scotland only got here because a penalty shoot out against Israel after 2 hours of boring football.

I hope like hell they do well, but I'm also a realist.

im not sure how much this means by Scotland also beat home and away this Czech Republic team in the UEFA Nations League in 2020.(both home and away)

Thats the game they need to win to have a chance of qualifying IMO.

Can't see them beating England. With 1 win, you will rely on other results in their group or other groups to make it.

Ukraine to win Group C at €5.50 is the standout bet for me. The Netherlands have been pretty woeful for the last 5-6 years and are living on former glory.
I assume Zinchenko would be their best player?

in group F could see a scenario where Ger/Fra and Portugal will look to smash Hungary by at least 3+ goals in each game

I assume Zinchenko would be their best player?

Yep, but they throw up the odd surprising result where they play well as a team, including a draw with France in March, and a win over, and a draw with Portugal in 2019 during the qualifying stages.

I was a big fan of Shevchenko as a player, now he is head coach of the national team, will be really interesting to see how he goes at a big tournament.
