Grief sucks. It's so hard to believe one minute I was patting my cat goodbye, then after I got home I was holding his dead body in my arms. Life sucks.
 
:cry:...so sorry to hear that kezz. Our animals hold a very real and special place in our hearts. I still remember each and every animal I've had over the years.

Life does indeed suck at times, particularly these times. One day you'll smile at the memories of your cat kezz and its funny endearing ways......in the meantime its quite appropriate to bawl your eyes out!

As anyone who has read Chuckles and Giggles knows I hire a young man from Vietnam named Ginc Dmon to do my art. After hearing about my poor Boofy-cat, he drew this for me:

If you're ever in need of some art for whatever reason (hell, Ginc even did my sisters tattoo and she loves it) contact Ginc, his prices are fair and as you can see his art is amazing and his heart is gold.

And yes, I'm currently sobbing my eyes out.

Dog people too, I swear Bastet was secretly a dog.

Which was fair enough, as his Uncle Morgan (a Beagle) was more than likely secretly a cat.
 
Not a fan by any means, but thought Guy Sebastian did a bang-up job at Eurovision.

Good choice of song, performed brilliantly. Congrats on the top 5 finish.
 
Sure did....he will go a long way our Guy. Has so much talent. Usually writes his own songs too, but don't know if he wrote that one.
 
Another "writer problem" which will probably make people laugh, but hey, that's what I'm in the business for.

Back towards the beginning of "Chuckles and Giggles" (chapters 10 to 14) I had the "Grandpa Charles" story arc, which was basically Chuckles grandfather coming in and trying to run the show (and it ending badly). My latest inspiration is for Chuckles younger twin sisters decide to get in on the fight and a similar sort of thing happens to them...only different in a way...and one half of me is like "You're just re-using story arcs now, give it a rest!" and the other half of me is like "Actually no, you're really just completing the story arc from before, even if it was over 20 chapters and five in-story years ago".

Who'd be a writer, seriously...

Anyone else have "every day" anxiety and then get hit by "surprise" anxiety? On the tail-end of an attack right now and I have no idea how I'm going to get to work tomorrow, which is my best bet of getting over it.
