Just thought I'd start a thread for commenting on any finals related topics.

Is anyone else worried that GWS might just miraculously find the form that the list offers?

If we make it to a pre-lim, it will be against either GWS or Adelaide at home. Neither match up I like at all but would probably want GWS at Olympic Park more so than Adelaide again.

I don't see Geelong getting beat by Richmond and I can see us putting the tigers to the sword in the Semi

Port Adelaide vs West Coast is redundant to me - neither is good enough to get past the Semi's no matter who wins between GWS and Adelaide.

My ladder predictor will always have Sydney coming out on top - but I am even more nervous than this time last year although I think we are a more rounded team.

I'd bloody love to knock them off again as well - but it's a bloody hard task and I feel more confident in doing a number on GWS at Olympic Park. I would consider this a home game for the swans

You probably would have said the same thing about the Bulldogs last year who came from 7th to win the flag! Never say never is all I have to say - however being srs for a minute you guys are certainly in good form so you should beat Essendon this weekend. From here on it's all on the day so may the best team win.

Very true. With the bye it only adds to the unpredictability too. Every game is do or die for us. Has been since round 7. I think we're more primed for finals footy than some of the other clubs. Hopefully we've got enough in the tank & don't have any lapses.

My major concern this finals series for Sydney and all interstate clubs is the fairy tale scenario. It was well and truly alive in last years finals series when the #sobraves got all the press and ultimately kissed on the arse by the umps in both the PF and GF.

Richmond will be very hard to overcome in a big final for an interstate club, the fairy tale scenario (part two) will be at fever pitch....

Although I think we have Geelongs measure quite comfortably. I think we absolutely thump Richmond

Been playing elimination finals for weeks now.

It's cliche' but.... Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.

There are no excuses. Our best is as good if not better than all of them.

Had a look at the team for GWS vs Adelaide - Genuinely think GWS are gonna win, although they have seemed to have gone for quite a tall side considering the predicted weather. Maybe a late change.
