Danny was a favourite of mine so maybe I followed him a little closer than most. But he was always a free spirit, someone who was always going to leave football in his wake. The muslim aspect, I recall reading a while ago somewhere, but I vividly remember him taking off overseas at any opportunity.

A little like Bob. While he has the intelligence and insight to live within football after he retires, I believe his path will guide him somewhere completely different.
