Ohh yea by the way obviously Detroit and Lakers havent submitted their lists yet, and Chad Ford is the guy from ESPN insider.

I am expecting them to take Walker to get some fans in the seats, plus he has an expiring contract.

Hoping they take Lo Wright.

His contract wouldn't appeal, but if they want a quality big man, they may need to take him.

Not much quality in terms of big blokes in those lists.

what are the contract like for some of the better players? Ie, Walker, Stackhouse, Rose? Malik Rose always seems to do well in Duncan's absence. Might be a bargain if not on a big contract.

Theres a rumour that Utah will pay or compensate the Bobcats to take Pavlovic.

You're right phat about the dearth of quality big men. Stack v Houston is an interesting proposition though. Maybe they'd rather E. Jones?

yes Presti it is.

What are the * about?

Restricted free agents, which become unrestricted as soon as Charlotte pick them.

Rookie deal, showed some promise too as a first round pick.

Bobcats won't take any max (or close to it) deals like Houston, Walker, Stackhouse or Jones. They only get a 30 million salary cap in their first season, drafting any of those guys would basically be half that cap gone on one player.

Indiana Pacers: Austin Croshere

Dear Charlotte,

We at the Pacers believe Austin would be the perfect player for you. He is a real asset and it would be a real shame to see him go. But we truthfully believe he will be a better player in your team.
Please take him...we'll even throw in some lottery tickets...just take him. :)

Why are charlotte only allowed to use 75% of the salary cap?seems a bit unfair to me,if they pay the franchise fee to join the nba they should be allowed to compete on equal footing.no wonder expansion teams take so long to get going.

I think its mainly because the NBA dont want them taking players on big contracts instead they want them to build a team around draft picks.
