Something not mentioned in the autopsy of last night's game, which I raised a couple of times in the off-season, is that the moment we won the premiership last year, 17 AFL teams sat down and asked themselves how can we nullify the Swans.
Perhaps some of them have come up with an answer, and we now need to adapt to that reality.
We are very vulnerable when other teams play our game against us. Hawthorn were ferocious in attacking the ball carrier which is what won us the Grand Final. Mick Malthouse exploited this a lot when at Collingwood leading to their years of dominance.
