OK, so the new "interpretations" are atrocious, but unfortunately it seems they're here to stay.
My question is - are we doing a good enough job of exploiting them, compared to other sides?
It seems to me that the answer is a resounding no. Today, for example, it was plainly obvious that Carlton were far more prepared to do 360's before throwing the ball to a team-mate or to just drop the ball where advantageous etc...
Now, from a supporter's POV, it makes them look like cheating scumbags. But in reality, they're just doing a better job of exploiting the system than we are. The vast majority of non-Richmond teams are in the same boat.
I'd really like to see us improve in this area, as it would just make us that extra 5-10% tougher, particularly come finals time where we'll be under more pressure, and that extra half a second becomes crucial.
