Gday Guys!

I'll start off by saying I have a 10Gb HDD on this computer I am on at the moment. Getting down to about 600mb free space so I need to upgrade...

Is it possible for me to get an external HDD which will work in the same way as the inbuilt one on my computer? I don't want to have to have another one installed into it, so can you get external ones?

If so, do they work in the same way as a normal one?

Cheers guys

External hard drives are fine, if not more expensive, alternatives. They work in the same way, athough, you'll still need the internal drive to be the system disk. You'll also need either USB 2.0 or firewire to plug the disk into.
