F1 : Bahrain GP

ch10 are showing the Bahrain GP at 11.20pm sunday. That means they won't start showing the race until about 11.40pm,after Crompton craps on and on and after they review the previous GP .

Come to think of it, if they're 7 hours BEHIND us (Bahrain is GMT +3 hrs according to F1live.com), then the race is actually near live.

After douing the sums I think that the race would have just finished by the time the telecast starts.

Remember the Qualifying format changes slightly. Still 2 runs on the Saturday, but now there will be an hour between runs for those who like to follow the timesheets.

Very disappointed with the timeslot - I just hope the track is a good one with a few places to pass.

Anyways, I will be watching Millwall v Sunderland until midnight.

Kimi aborted his lap,as he'd changed an engine and would've started 10 places further down from where he qualified.

Don't count Kimi out.

At one of the races last year (pretty sure it was Canada, not sure though), he did the same thing (started from the pits, loaded up on the fuel) and he ended up on the podium. Not qualifying may look stupid but one lap of fuel extra does make a difference in F1.

What the hell was Ralf Schumacher thinking on that cornor with Sako I think it was that resuled in him going off the track? Entirely his fault, move the hell over to the right you idiot. Where do you think you are going to go? He has getting on my nerves the last few rounds. With the Webber incident in Malaysia and now this.

Speaking of Webber, good to see him getting in the points just. From 14th to 8 is not too shavey at all. Loved his battle with Alonso. Speaking of which, why the hell did Alonso wave his fist at him? Webber can't see it moron, concentarte on racing. And besides, what Webber did wasn't illegal, I don't know what the commentator was on about. Good to see the Aussie commentator clear it up, because that is what I was thinking too.

Well done to Button also.

Juan Pablo must be regreting his decision to sign with McLaren.Minardi finish more races than McLaren.

If I was Juan Montoya I'd be reconsidering my move to McLaren next year!

At least the race has some fairly good moments - the Klien-Raikkonen scrap, Alonso-Webber, Button's push and Montoya's problems. The track was a winner, except for the powder stuff on the tracks edge - whats the deal with that?

I'm hoping for a massive downpour at Imola in 2 weeks, just to bring the Ferrari's back to the pack. There is no way the others can catch the Red ones on a dry track.

That was odd.The drivers were worried about sand on the track,yet there seemed to be some powder or sand in between the track and gravel run offs.

Bloody stupid.

What were they spraying on the podium ?
The commentators said grog was allowed to be sprayed.

Most depressing season so far. The McLaren of Kimi couldn't beat a datsun 180B at the moment.

And what exactly is wrong with a Datsun 180b? I used to drive a Datsun 1600 with an 1800 recon engine modified for rally. Damn fine car and craps all over McLaren at the moment...
