F1 : Japanese GP

The Qualifying session for the Japanese GP will be run today [sunday],the same day as the race.
Yesterdays session had to be cancelled due to a typhoon.

Yep, maybe if you had of cheered for him before/during the race, instead of a day later he might have done better.

I go for JB (Jenson Button). He is driving a BAR Honda, and is finishing on the podeum nearly every week. He is a gun. If he goes to WILLIAMS he will win a Grand Prix Championship Title. You watch. He is a gun.

I had an absolutely fantastic weekend.

However, that race just ruined it. Watching Bathurst, I jumped on the net to find out the qualifying results and was absolutely elated (as no doubt all of us were with a P3 gridslot for Mark). I thought this was the beginning of something special...

I kept trying to convince myself that Mark would have no problems off the line. Pfft.

The coverage was very 2nd rate. I wanted to belt James Allen over the head, and for some weird reason Martin Brundle's commentary also started to drive me up the wall. The last couple of races I haven't really agreed with some of his comments.

Michael's dominance put me to sleep (having 4 hours sleep the previous 48 hours, was very easy to nod off). Mark retiring was the icing on the cake. I got up and left ans started the trek home.

The coverage was very 2nd rate.

I thought the coverage was very ordinary,but you can't blame the commentators [Allen /Brundle ].They get just as frustrated as everyone with the coverage.

Ch10's cutting away when the Pom's weren't going to an ad didn't help.Fisichella is heading into a sandtrap,yet ch10 go to an ad.Usually we'd get a replay to see what happened because the Poms would be replaying it when they were coming back from an ad break.

Just to straighten things out, I wasn't blaming the commentaters for the Japanese director's incompetence. As we well know, the commentaters have no control over what the directer wants to show. However, commentaters do have control over what comes out their own mouths. Allen continues to outdo himself every race weekend. When Martin and James aren't trying to correct each other they are licking Jenson's arse.
