A video appeared in my news feed yesterday of a blindfolded man and it looked like he was about to be beheaded in the streets. I was too scared to watch all 22 seconds of it so I paused and read the comments and yeah it looked like I was about to witness a man legitimately have his head cut off.

Facebook needs to crack down on that shit!

You have some friends to cull. I wont alow tat shit. Anyone posts shit like that they gone. Some people are doing it trolling fan pages. I saw one on the cavs page once about a goat.

It's not so much that they're posting that specific material, they just comment on the video (tagging their friends, to be exact) and then that appears on my newsfeed. But it's still unacceptable to see that sort of shit on Facebook. It's been deleted now but it had already been up for a week when I saw it yesterday.

Not sure if it's around anymore but there used to be a Chrome extension called unbaby.me which would scan your newsfeed for things that were likely to be related to babies and would replace it with whatever you chose (like, Metal bands or Mr T photos.)

I haven't seen the other humans of '....', but I enjoy the HONY posts. Gives a usually pretty honest glimpse into the lives of average joes. I don't usually read the comments though as it's usually very predictable and a big love-in.
