Hope the Crows absolutely pants the Pies.
I'm from a Pies family but woke up to the filth and migrated North...If I have to hear about how good Collingwood travel again, I'm going to lose it.
Stick it up em Crows!

Ive heard that as We travel that well and that often were buying our own plane and requesting more interstate games
How's north going with the tassie move
They can sublease it

Lets get numbers back early ... can not afford too push up to hard and allow the isolation plays occur , especially with the crafty makeshift small forward line the pies can utilize to gain a clear run at goal .

Numbers at contest and lots of mopping up . Laird and Brown should thrive , Talia and Hartigan Punch it.
Doedee , do do what you do best !

Build it from the coalface and backline today .

Yep...Collingwood Flogs are everywhere!

Great write up. I always knew them as 'The Caringbush', so there's another to add to the list.

Carringbush comes from the Frank Hardy novel, on the life John Wren (referred to in the novel as "John West") and Collingwood is referred to Carringbush. The Names were changed to prevent a law suit. Which happened anyway.

John Wren was talented (allegedly) u19 footballer for Collingwood before going on to a life building a SP bookmaker empire, he was a controversial figure engaged in shady empire with much alleged corruption. A Keen Collingwood fan often in the rooms (allegedly rewarding players). He went on to establish a number of Pony racing tracks ( to get around horse racing rules around Melbourne (one was in Richmond , one remains sort of opposite north-land). He had an bookmakers operation in Collingwood called "the tote" as it was allegedly holding more money than the actual totalizator (normally reformed to as "the tote) the racetrack run betting windows. This gave the name to one of the great Australian Punk rock venues "The Tote" which is close to the site of Wren's operation.
