Fantasy Draft Game

I don't know how that would work TBH.

Generally with drafting games you get a few who drop interest after a while. Even with a 12 hour window to make a selection, you could potentially only be making 1 or 2 selections every week. Multiply that by 30 rounds and there's the potential for it to last a few months, and that's just to get the initial squads together.

If posters do drift away, what do you plan to do with their players?

If we make it to the end with all posters intact, yet some decide not to trade, how will that affect the game? What do we do with their players?

Not saying it won't work, but not saying it will either!

Would rather quicker style games. Don't lose interest easily.

Should maybe even drop that window a bit more. Unless someone PMs you saying they mgt be a bit late.

In the last draft, we had a special round where the posters' players were up for selection. The random generator would work well with that system too. If there were less than 18 players selected in the team, or if no one wanted their pick, they would get an extra pick in the live draft.

The WCW have decided to pick up Garry Ablett jr for pick 4. He will be a valuable player to my team as he is the best midfielder in the comp. Also has no problem kicking 40-50 goals a year as a small forward.

Guys I have run one of these in the past and finished. Easiest way to get it to work is to PM a preferences of your picks to myself and Jonts. That way even if you aren't active we can the game going.

Another rule to make the game run quickly and not stop is that after 24/48 hours a player an automatic pick to the player with the next brownlow votes.

Eg. Right now if he doesnt pick it would be Dane Swan then Sam Mitchell for the next guy.
