Fantasy Footy Game

I have an idea for a Fantasy Footy Game, but I need 15 other players to do it.

The idea is to have a Fantasy Draft with every listed player for 2002. Each of the 16 players gets allocated an AFL team, with which the order of the draft will proceed. (ie of you get Freo you get first pick in the draft and every round, If you get Brisbane you get every 16th pick.) All AFL players will be drafted, with no restriction to which players you can draft. There will also be a Rookie Draft, to which all rookies must also be drafted.

Each team will have around 38-40 players, with your top 20 players every week scoring the points for your team based upon a points system using the AFL Statistics.

If a player goes down with a long term injury, you may elevate one of your rookies to take their place.

The one drawback is that all 16 players must be present at the same time in order for the draft to go ahead.

I should just point out its just the team name your taking - your team is made up of any player you pick up

There may be, but I'm still tinkering with that idea for the moment.

Also, considering we're drafting entire teams, the traditional draft order wouldn't make much sense, as over the entire list, Fremantle would come out on top.....always picking before the rest, even though that squad isn't in worse shape.

Maybe do a....

Round 1 = Fremantle 1st pick, Brisbane 16th pick.
Round 2 = Brisbane 17th pick, Fremantle 32nd pick.
Round 3 = Fremantle 33rd pick, Brisbane 48th pick.

and so on.
