Anybody who says otherwise -

2002 - All Australian Full Back
2003 - All Australian Half Forward Flank (really for playing in the midfield)
2005 - All Australian Centre Half Forward

No matter what we needed, Pavlich would do it at an All-Australian standard.

I said it first three years ago, and I say it again now - with free pick of anyone, to take anyone but Pavlich would be foolish.

Judd may fit an important need for us right now, and later just be embellishment on a strong midfield while other areas are weak, but Pavlich will always help fix a need because he can play anywhere.

LOL and i dont even fancy him, i dont favour him or anything, i seriously see some value in him, he has a bright future in the AFL and collingwood aren't stupid to get rid of EVERY player on its list like every collingwood supporter is on this site, seriously we wouldnt HAVE a team if all these threads were for real. just have faith in your club and stop bloody complaining, we pride ourselves on being the most unique and hated, stop doing it to your own players and get behind them for a change.. and yes quote me, t walker will be playing 100+ games of AFL football for the collingwood fc

Hmmm... remember his game in the 2003 Grand Final (though he wasn't Robinson Crusoe on that day)? Sometimes I look at what he does and see something, some kind of ability that might be there, but I am beginning to suspect that he's simply not up to AFL standard. I think he should be given one more year to prove himself, but we wouldn't want him hanging around after that if he doesn't.

Anyhow, seeing the thread's here now, who would people say nowadays as a gift from the sky addition to our list - for a one year contract for 2014 ( as opposed to choosing some kid like O'Meara as a 10 year player ) - who would we choose - and let's further say that Ablett is off the list?

I'd have to go Buddy. Jesse White would probably head straight for the West Gate, but you couldn't go past Buddy to be the twin tower alongside Cloke. It'd cause mammoth nightmares week in, week out for the opposition.

Interestingly enough IMO, you would still keep White in as that third tall who is the second ruck.

I'm getting aroused at a thought of Buddy and Cloke in the forward line now.....
