Hey mate, I'm no BBL expert by any means, though for my liking you've got far too few in your squad with the double-round first up. My squad currently has only 2 that don't have the double in round 1. With 3 trades per week that are wasted if not used, I feel you need to take advantage.
Zampa and Pieterson would be my first omissions, or on the bench at the least, given the stars have a bye rd1.

had a think about the double ups round 1 and have catered to that.

McCullum and Roy are two of the best T20 bats in the world and will open the innings for their respective teams. Bell will bat top 3 for Perth and is a noted run scorer at international level. Cam White, well we know what he can do. Go big or go home. Jake Weatherald is the cheapest and best option for a back up bat. Most likely to open for Adelaide and has made runs in both FC and OD level for SA.

gone with the top 2 all rounders in Russell and Head. Both double up round 1 and have different byes. Botha is the perfect back up option as he is quite economical with his bowling and is a handy lower order bat, who could be promoted for big hitting if needed.

Haddin/Peirson is the way to go for keepers IMO as they dont have the same bye and Peirson plays twice when Haddin plays once. Both bat top order so plenty of points to be scored with their runs.

Bowlers were tricker for me. Gone with Richardson as he is usually quite good for Adelaide. Swings the new ball, but is their best death bowler IMO. If he can apply the pressure early on, he should take a few wickets in the back end of the innings. Johnson picks himself IMO. Was the best bowler in the world for some time and will lead the Perth attack. Can also hit a ball and could get bonus points with the runs he scores. Dougie will be the 6ers leading bowler for BBL06 IMO. very reliable and a wicket taker. Pat Cummins is the x-factor, coming back from injury, he has shown a lot of good signs for Australia. A very good death bowler, he will be hit and miss with his point scoring. Sandhu, I'm backing to get to his BBL03 or 04 form, when he was the comps best bowler. cheap back up and will play games.

thanks to AusMC for pointing out the double ups, wasnt quite sure how that worked.

Nice team. Just remember that it is possible to have 11 double game players on the field in the first round and still be able to field a full team the following round. Personally I'm finding the Supercoach BBL a bit harder to strategise for than the KFC BBL version, but that's probably due to that I'm more familiar with the KFC version.

Anyway, here's my squads so far:

I'm not that happy with having that many Sixers in my batting line ups, but there's still 7 days to tweek that.

Is this the only BBL forum on BF?

BigFooty has a lot of interesting stuff on many different subjects, but if you're specifically looking for discussion and info. relating to BBL Fantasy/SC, then SuperCoach Scores is a good site.

What's the best resource for players to avoid due to international commitments, etcetera?

I was the same crossing over. SC positions are throwing things outta whack.

Load up the DGW's!

Hang on a minute. Why do people on here have all-rounders??
I've only got 5 batsmen, 5 bowlers and 1 wicketkeeper??

Edit: Seems foxsports have a comp as well. Sigh. How confusing.
